One of Szekszárd's most respected family estates, producing benchmark Bikavér and Kadarka from loess-clay slopes above the Danube. The Takler family has been instrumental in the revival of Szekszárdi Bikavér as a serious, age-worthy wine — their Primarius (top selection) demonstrates that the Bull's Blood blend, once dismissed as tourist fare, can achieve genuine complexity and longevity when produced from low yields and quality fruit. The estate also produces excellent single-variety Kadarka and Kékfrankos.
