Song Tea Fuding Bai Mu Dan (White Peony)

Fujian, China
Bai Mu Dan (白牡丹, White Peony) is the second tier of Fuding white tea, using one bud and two leaves rather than bud alone. Song Tea's selection prioritises high-elevation Fuding farms producing leaves of exceptional quality. Where Silver Needle is all delicacy, White Peony has more body and depth — the two-leaf inclusion brings a slight grassiness, more honey weight, and a longer finish. An excellent everyday companion to Silver Needle, and a tea that ages beautifully: three to five years of proper storage deepens the honey and softens the vegetable notes.
