West Lake Longjing Late Spring Grade B

Zhejiang, China
Third-grade West Lake Longjing, harvested after Grain Rain (April 20) through May — a fuller leaf with more body and a stronger vegetable character. Where Mingqian and Yuqian are delicate, this grade shows more structure: still the characteristic chestnut and buttery notes, but with more tannin presence and a slightly rounder profile. An excellent everyday green tea for high-volume restaurant use where the top-grade cost is prohibitive, while maintaining authentic West Lake protected origin.
