Maury Sec AOC

Maury Sec AOC is the dry wine counterpart to the fortified Maury VDN — a tiny appellation in the Fenouillèdes, a wild inland valley between the Pyrenéan foothills and the Corbières massif in Roussillon. The black schist soils produce Grenache Noir, Syrah, and Carignan of concentrated power and mineral depth, with the distinctive iron-graphite character of Maury's volcanic metamorphic terroir. Dry Maury reds are among France's most characterful Mediterranean expressions — raw, mineral, and untamed.
