Meursault
Burgundy's capital of white wine — the most commercially important Chardonnay appellation on earth. No Grand Crus (a historic anomaly given the quality) but Premier Crus Perrières, Charmes, Genevrières are world-class. Famous for the Paulée de Meursault lunch — the greatest harvest celebration in Burgundy. BC importer for Coche-Dury: ultra-allocated, primarily through Cas-Dri Pacific [NEEDS VERIFICATION].
