Gigondas

Hillside appellation in the Dentelles de Montmirail. Grenache and Syrah dominant on limestone and clay soils at higher altitude than Châteauneuf. More structured and mineral. Excellent value compared to Châteauneuf. The 'baby Châteauneuf' of the trade.
