Asti DOCG
Two DOCG designations: Moscato d'Asti (delicate, low-alcohol 5.5% ABV sweet sparkling; peach, apricot, orange blossom; partial fermentation stopped by chilling — not traditional method) and Asti Spumante (fully sparkling, higher alcohol). Also Barbera d'Asti DOCG — Barbera's finest standalone appellation, high acid, excellent with pasta.
