Nahe
The Nahe, flowing into the Rhine at Bingen, produces Germany's most geologically diverse wines: porphyry, quartzite, basalt, sandstone, and slate all appear within a small area. Dönnhoff's Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling is the Nahe's most sought single-vineyard expression — combining Mosel tension with Rheingau weight. Often considered undervalued relative to quality, making Nahe the best QPR region in Germany.
