Moravia

The heartland of Czech wine production, accounting for 96% of all Czech vineyards. Moravia's sub-regions — Znojmo, Velke Pavlovice, Slovacko, and Mikulov — produce aromatic whites from Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, and the indigenous Pálava, a Gewürztraminer-Müller-Thurgau cross producing intensely aromatic wines of genuine distinction.
