Robola of Cephalonia

A small, prestigious PDO on the Ionian island of Cephalonia, producing some of Greece's most distinctive white wines from the indigenous Robola grape. High-altitude limestone vineyards (up to 800m) on the mountainous Omala valley produce wines of intense citrus, mineral freshness, and distinctive flinty character. Often described as Greece's answer to Chablis.
