Austria — wine
Thermenregion
Austria's most distinctive wine zone, south of Vienna near the famous spa towns of Baden bei Wien and Bad Vöslau. Home to two grape varieties found almost nowhere else on earth: Zierfandler (Spätrot) and Rotgipfler, which together make a blended white wine of extraordinary richness, spice, and aging potential. Also produces fine Pinot Noir under the name Blauburgunder.
