Spain — wine

Binissalem-Mallorca

The Balearic island of Mallorca's leading wine DO, centred in the Raiguer region inland from Palma. Binissalem is defined by indigenous grape varieties unique to the island: Manto Negro and Callet (reds) and Prensal Blanc (white). The Mediterranean island climate produces wines of warmth, generosity, and distinctive local character — increasingly recognised internationally as Spain's most intriguing island wine region.
