Muscat of Samos PDO

The Aegean island of Samos produces Greece's finest dessert Muscat wines from Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. Vinified in several styles including Anthemis (naturally sweet), Nectar (sun-dried late harvest) and Vin Doux (fortified). High-altitude vineyards on steep terraced slopes capture cooling sea breezes while concentrating aromatics. France has long been the primary export market.
