Kamptal DAC

The Kamp river valley north-west of Vienna produces Austria's most exciting Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The unique Heiligenstein and Gaisberg single-vineyard sites on volcanic gneiss and sandstone soils produce benchmark wines of extraordinary mineral precision and longevity. The DAC hierarchy (Klassik, Reserve, Erste Lage) mirrors Burgundy's premier and grand cru system.
