Campanian white DOCG from the ancient Fiano grape in the Avellino hills; one of Italy's most fascinating white wines with honeyed, complex character that develops magnificently over 5-15 years. Fiano's DNA traces to ancient Roman 'Apianum' (bee wine) due to its honeyed character attracting bees. Volcanic and limestone soils at 500-700m altitude give the wines mineral backbone to age. DOCG since 2003.
