Marcillac AOC

Small appellation in the Aveyron producing distinctive reds from Fer Servadou (Mansois) on iron-rich red sandstone soils. Wines display a unique metallic, peppery, blackcurrant and violet character unlike any other French red. Remarkable value for the quality level.
