Italy — wine
Bardolino DOC
The lighter, fresher face of Verona's reds, produced from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella on glacial moraine soils around Lake Garda's eastern shore. Bardolino at its best is vivid, sour-cherry bright and refreshing — a wine of elegance rather than power. The Chiaretto rosé is one of Italy's most distinctive.
