Margaux AOC

The southernmost and most aromatic of the great Médoc communes, Margaux produces Bordeaux's most perfumed and feminine reds. Château Margaux leads the appellation with wines of extraordinary floral complexity. The distinctive thin, sandy gravel soils drain perfectly and produce wines of remarkable delicacy and longevity. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates but yields here are naturally low due to poor soils.
