France's second most important sparkling wine appellation after Champagne, Crémant d'Alsace is made by the traditional method from Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Pinot Noir. The wines offer excellent quality at a fraction of Champagne's price, with the characteristic Alsatian freshness, floral aromatics, and clean fruit character. Blanc de Noirs Crémant from Pinot Noir is a regional specialty.
