Italy — wine

Molise Wine Region

Molise is Italy's second-smallest region, sandwiched between Abruzzo, Campania, and the Adriatic. Long overshadowed by its neighbours, Molise is producing wines of genuine distinction from Tintilia del Molise DOC — the region's exclusive indigenous red grape — alongside Montepulciano and Falanghina. At 400–800m altitude on limestone-clay soils, the wines combine southern richness with mountain freshness. The region remains one of Italy's last undiscovered wine frontiers.
