Côtes de Gascogne Wine Region

Côtes de Gascogne is France's most successful IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée), covering the rolling hills of Gascony — the Armagnac territory — between Bordeaux and the Pyrenees. The region produces crisp, aromatic, internationally accessible dry whites from Colombard, Gros Manseng, and Ugni Blanc at budget prices, plus increasingly serious rosés and reds from Tannat and Cabernet Franc. It is the world's leading-volume French country wine export, found in supermarkets from London to Sydney.
