Mexico — wine

Valle de Guadalupe Wine Region

The Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California, 90km south of San Diego and 30km from Ensenada, is Mexico's most celebrated wine region and the heart of a wine-and-gastronomy boom that has made it one of the world's most talked-about wine destinations. The Mediterranean climate (warm days, cool nights from Pacific fog), granitic soils, and a culture of innovation produce a diverse range of wines — from Nebbiolo to local-adapted Grenache — alongside extraordinary restaurants in the vineyard. The 'Baja California cuisine' movement has made this a global food destination.
