Silver Heights Family Reserve Ningxia GI

Ningxia Wine Region, China
Emma Gao's Silver Heights Family Reserve is produced with winemaking experience acquired in Bordeaux, applied to the Helan Mountain's extreme continental terroir. The Family Reserve shows Ningxia wine's most refined expression: garnet with aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco, cedar, and a distinctive desert-mineral dustiness. The palate is medium-full with well-integrated tannins and a clean, Bordeaux-influenced finish of dark fruit and mineral depth.
complement
Northwestern China's most celebrated lamb preparation — grilled ribs with aromatic cumin and chilli — with Ningxia's most elegant red: the wine's structure and dark fruit stand with the spice intensity

complement
Cabernet's tannin and dark fruit bridge the umami depth of black bean sauce and the bitterness of bitter gourd — a Chinese culinary pairing that works through textural and flavour contrast
