Single estate Demerara rum from the historic Uitvlugt and Enmore estates in Guyana, aged 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Distilled using traditional wooden Coffey column stills — some of the oldest continuously operating distillation equipment in the world — the spirit develops extraordinary layers of complexity during long tropical aging in Guyana's humid equatorial climate. Demerara rums aged in the tropics lose far more to evaporation per year than European-aged spirits, concentrating the remaining rum into an intensely flavoured expression of this unique sugarcane terroir.
