About this product
Dianhong (滇红, Yunnan Red) is China's premium black tea — made from the same Da Ye varietal used for pu-erh, but fully oxidised. The golden-tipped version uses only the bud and first leaf at high elevation, producing a tea of extraordinary richness: malty, sweet, with a natural honey quality from the high proportion of golden buds (pekoe). Yunnan Sourcing's Crimson Flame selection prioritises high-elevation (1,600–2,200m) farms with hand-processing. No milk, no sugar — this tea is complete.
