Zidarich Vitovska Carso DOC

Carso DOC, Italy
Vitovska is a variety found almost exclusively on the Carso limestone plateau — a white grape of extraordinary mineral intensity and aromatic complexity. Zidarich's version — extended lees contact, no filtration — shows the variety at its most expressive: pale gold with aromas of white peach, lemon zest, thyme, and an almost geological limestone-salt mineral that evokes the karst landscape directly. The palate is linear, precise, and long — a wine for curious collectors of extreme terroir.
