Château Margaux Grand Vin

Margaux, France
The most perfumed and elegant First Growth — the 'feminine' Médoc. The gravelly Margaux soils produce Cabernet Sauvignon of unusual aromatic delicacy: violet, rose, cassis, cedar. Not the most powerful but the most seductive at any age. The 1900 is considered one of the greatest wines ever recorded. Modern benchmarks: 2000, 2009, 2010, 2015. The second wine Pavillon Rouge is consistently one of Bordeaux's finest second labels.
