Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Gran Reserva
Rioja DOCa, Spain
About this product
Vina Tondonia Gran Reserva is one of the world's great traditional wines — aged 6+ years in barrel and several more in bottle before release. When purchased, the wine is already 10-15 years old. The oxidative barrel aging creates complex secondary character: leather, tobacco, dried rose, and a haunting savory depth unlike any other wine. It represents the apex of the traditional Rioja aging philosophy.
