Sadie Family Columella
Swartland, South Africa
About this product
South Africa's most internationally collected wine — Eben Sadie's old-vine Swartland Syrah (dominant) and Mourvèdre blend from multiple parcels of dry-farmed bushvine material across different Swartland soil types. Columella has been the flagship of the Swartland revolution since 2001. No new oak, wild yeast, minimal intervention — the wine is a pure expression of Swartland terroir: the iron-red soil, the dry-farmed bushvines, the Paardeberg granite. Consistently scores 95-98 from international critics.
