Yoshinogawa Winter Warrior Junmai Ginjo

Niigata, Japan
The Winter Warrior (Fuyu Musha) is Yoshinogawa's export-focused ginjo expression — named for the intense Niigata winters that make possible the slow, cold fermentation that defines the prefecture's premium production. Lighter and more approachable than the Gensen Karakuchi's extreme dryness, the Winter Warrior balances Niigata's characteristic light-dry character with the aromatic appeal of ginjo fermentation.
