Bründlmayer Heiligenstein Riesling Alte Reben Kamptal DAC Reserve

Kamptal DAC, Austria
Austria's benchmark Riesling — from the Heiligenstein's ancient volcanic rock (orthogneiss) 200 million years old. Old-vine Riesling (30–60 years) producing wines of extraordinary mineral depth and aromatic complexity. Fermented with indigenous yeast in old large casks, aged 18 months on lees. White peach, mandarin zest, crushed stone, and a soaring spicy-mineral backbone. Lives for 20–30 years with brilliant development.
