Château Musar White Bekaa Valley Lebanon

Bekaa Valley Wine Region, Lebanon
Extraordinary white from ancient indigenous varieties Obaideh and Merwah; possibly related to Chardonnay and Semillon but pre-dates them. Oxidative and complex: beeswax, dried apricot, quince, and a distinctive Bekaa Valley mineral-chalk. Aged 12 months in oak and several more in bottle before release. Comparable to white Rhône in weight and ageing potential.
