Dal Forno's meticulous appassimento (5 months' drying) produces extraordinary concentration: black cherry jam, dried fig, dark chocolate, espresso, tar, and violets. Aged 4+ years in barriques before extended bottle aging. Enormous structure with 17% alcohol and firm, fine tannins. Decades of ageing potential.
