Baozhong (包種, wrapped kind) is the lightest of Taiwan's oolongs — only 12–18% oxidation, it sits at the boundary between green tea and oolong. Grown primarily in Pinglin District, New Taipei City, and processed with a distinctive twisting (rather than rolling) that produces loosely furled leaves with extraordinary aromatic volatility.
