Nigl Senftenberger Piri Grüner Veltliner Kremstal DAC Reserve

Kremstal DAC, Austria
The benchmark Kremstal Grüner Veltliner — from the Senftenberger Piri vineyard on deep loess soils. The loess gives a creamier, more generous style than Kamptal's primary rock: white pepper, green apple, citrus cream, and a textural weight rare in GrüVe. Fermented in old casks; 11 months on lees. Excellent food wine from 3 to 12 years.
complement
Austria's most beloved pairing — Grüner Veltliner's peppery freshness cuts through the breaded schnitzel's richness; lingonberry's tartness bridges the wine's citrus body.

complement
The wine's peppery-mineral freshness and creamy lees texture bridges the smoked fish's oil; horseradish's sharp heat is soothed by GrüVe's citrus body.
