Philosophy
The most traditional bodega in Rioja — founded in 1877 at Haro's railway station, López de Heredia still uses 19th-century methods: American oak barriques, extended barrel aging (6-10 years for Reserva and Gran Reserva), and filtration through Burgundy basket presses. Their wines achieve a tertiary complexity unlike anything else in Spain.
