Josef Mantler at Mantlerhof produces Kremstal wines of authentic regional character from the valley's loess and primary rock sites, working primarily with the Roter Veltliner variety alongside Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.

Mantlerhof is one of the few remaining producers of Roter Veltliner, a rare and ancient variety that once dominated the Kremstal. The estate's commitment to this endangered variety alongside mainstream quality makes it unique.
