Domaine Vincent Dauvissat

Vincent Dauvissat is considered one of Chablis's greatest producers — a meticulous farmer and winemaker who ages his wines in old oak barrels for texture and complexity without imposing oak flavour. Working with Premier Cru Séchet and La Forest and Grand Cru Les Clos and Les Preuses, Dauvissat's wines achieve a complexity and depth that defines Chablis at its most profound.

Among Chablis's fiercely contested top tier, Dauvissat is regularly cited alongside Raveneau as the appellation's most compelling voice. His Grand Cru Les Clos is considered one of the great white wines of Burgundy — wines that demand 10–20 years to show their full mineral complexity. Allocations are tiny and demand is global.
