Los Llanos is Valdepeñas's most historic quality estate — farming the denomination's finest limestone-calcareous sites for over a century. Their philosophy honours the traditional Valdepeñas practice of ageing Cencibel in American oak — a technique that softens the variety's tannins while adding vanilla and spice notes characteristic of the style.

Los Llanos's Gran Reserva wines are considered Valdepeñas's finest expressions — long-aged Cencibel from old limestone sites that demonstrate the variety's capacity for complexity at the highest level. The estate's centenarian vines produce wine of genuine depth and character.
