One of Sancerre's most respected domaines — the Crochet family farms 36 hectares across all three Sancerre soil types. Gilles Crochet, who took over in 1985, has maintained extraordinary consistency for four decades. The Cuvée Prestige (silex-only parcel) is the estate's most celebrated wine; the Croix du Roy rouge (Pinot Noir) is among the finest red Sancerres produced.

Lucien Crochet is consistently rated among the top three Sancerre producers by international critics — the Cuvée Prestige Blanc receives 93-96 points and ages remarkably well for 10+ years. The domaine's balance of precision and richness is considered the house style benchmark.
