Barrel fermentation of substantial red wine volume to achieve texture and early approachability while preserving ageability. Extended skin contact—up to 90 days for selected lots—without punch-downs develops complexity. Unfined, unfiltered single-vineyard selections express the distinction between valley floor, hillside, and mountain terroirs.
Reputation
In 2005, vintners Robin and Michelle Baggett arrived in Napa Valley with deep roots in California viticulture; Robin had spent sixteen years as a grape grower and founder of Tolosa Winery in San Luis Obispo, while Michelle crafted the brand vision. Alpha Omega Winery opened in 2006 on the Rutherford Bench, a location nestled at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains where valley floor meets hillside, capturing the essence of Napa's most celebrated terroir.
