Champagne Brice
Champagne, France
Philosophy
Organically farmed Pinot Noir-led cuvées from Grand Cru Bouzy's mid-slopes, eschewing malolactic fermentation entirely. The house style emphasizes precision and vibrancy, built on large individual vineyard parcels unified through extended cellar age and consulting oenologist Christophe Constant's classical Champagne discipline.
Reputation
The Brice lineage has dwelt in Bouzy since 1684, emerging from the original settler families who transformed this chalk village into Champagne's Grand Cru heart. Jean-Paul Brice formalized the modern house in 1994 as a négociant operation, building upon a family estate whose documented viticultural tenure stretches to the seventeenth century.
