Champagne Guy Larmandier

Champagne, France
Grower-made Champagne of precise mineral minerality, aged minimum 36 months sur lattes. Manual harvest, restrained dosage—zero-dosage offerings emphasize limestone terroir. Stainless steel fermentation preserves the chalky soul of Côte des Blancs Chardonnay.
Since 1976, Guy and Colette Larmandier have been based in Vertus, a village on the edge of the Côte des Blancs. Guy, like his brother Philippe (founder of Larmandier-Bernier), was growing grapes in the Chardonnay-friendly villages of the Côte des Blancs, including the famous Grand Cru of Cramant.
AllocationNo official producer website located despite multiple searches. Founded year confirmed as 1976 by multiple independent sources (Serendipity, Gault Millau). Succession: Guy's death resulted in current management by wife Colette and adult children François and Marie-Hélène (taken over c. 2000 per sources). Farming practice: Sources cite 'lutte raisonnée' (integrated pest management), not certified organic; one US retailer labels wines as 'organic' but certification not verified in producer literature. U.S. importer: Neal Rosenthal has represented since 1982; primary distributor is Rosenthal Wine Merchant. UK importer: Not identified from search results. Production and vineyard metrics consistently verified across multiple sources. No Japan importer identified. Producer communication via @domaineguylarmandier Instagram and guy.larmandier@wanadoo.fr per Vignerons Indépendants registry. | Importer overflow captured (importer_other): 'Skurnik Wines & Spirits (US distributor)'
