Reputation

Founded in 1992 by Ann Colgin and Fred Schrader after Colgin's attendance at the Napa Valley Wine Auction, the estate emerged as a trailblazer among California's original cult wine producers. Drawing upon Colgin's prior career in fine art and Sotheby's wine department, the house established its reputation on uncompromising standards applied to exceptional hillside terroirs across the Napa Valley.
