Domaine Antoine Jobard
Burgundy, France
Philosophy
Slow barrel fermentations with extended elevage and prolonged lees contact—no bâtonnage. Light long toast on Allier oak (20% new), bottled late after 18–24 months in cask. Wines express terroir with mineral precision, searingly reductive in youth, unfolding into expansive complexity with age.
Reputation
Founded in 1860 in the heart of Meursault, Domaine Antoine Jobard represents five generations of the Jobard family's stewardship of Burgundy's finest white terroirs. The estate traces its lineage through careful family succession: from its establishment through François Jobard (who worked the vineyards from 1957 until his 50th vintage in 2007), to Antoine, who joined in 2002 and assumed full responsibility in 2007, bringing his own vision while honoring generations of discretion and precision.
