Villa Sant'Anna
Tuscany, Italy
Philosophy
Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel and cement vats; extended aging in French oak barriques and Slavonian botti within centuries-old underground cellars maintained at constant natural temperature. Vin Santo undergoes eight years of maturation in neutral caratelli with solera mother, a solitary expression of extreme patience and terroir.
Reputation
Villa Sant'Anna rests on the southern slopes of Montepulciano, where the maternal line of Simona Ruggeri Fabroni maintained continuous winemaking for nearly two centuries. The estate, rooted in the nineteenth century, finds its modern expression through an all-female team committed to expressing the terroir's mineral character and elegance.
