Domaine de Chevalier

Pessac-Léognan, France
Domaine de Chevalier is among the most admired estates in Pessac-Léognan — known equally for exceptional white and red wines of great longevity. The estate's unique situation in the forest of Léognan provides a naturally cooling influence that preserves acidity in both colours. The white (100% Sauvignon Blanc with some Sémillon) is aged in barrel for 18 months and can age for 20-30 years — one of the world's longest-lived dry white wines. The red shows great cedar, tobacco, and graphite complexity that develops for 15-25 years.
Domaine de Chevalier's white is one of the greatest dry white wines in the world — a wine that evolves over decades and challenges the finest white Burgundy for longevity. The red is among Pessac-Léognan's finest values.
