The Zilliken family estate in Saarburg specialises exclusively in the Saarburger Rausch vineyard — one of the Saar's finest sites, with steep blue slate soils that produce Riesling of extraordinary mineral precision and elegance. Hanno Zilliken produces the full Prädikat range (Kabinett through TBA) from this single vineyard, with the Saarburger Rausch Riesling Auslese considered one of the finest expressions of off-dry Saar style: delicate, mineral, with apricot fruit and a steel-like precision. The estate's approach is traditional and uncompromising — Riesling and nothing else.
