Filipa Pato (daughter of Bairrada icon Luis Pato) has established her own distinctive identity — producing natural, minimal-intervention wines from Baga and Bical in the clay and limestone soils of Bairrada. Her approach emphasises freshness and elegance over the traditional tannic power of Baga — the Nossa Calcário (Our Limestone) red and the sparkling Blanc de Blancs Bruto represent the most exciting new direction for one of Portugal's most underrated appellations.
