Philosophy
Lakan Lambanog is one of the few Quezon Province lambanog producers bringing artisanal quality standards to this traditional Filipino coconut spirit. Lambanog is produced from the fermented sap of the coconut palm flower (tubâ), which is collected by skilled tree climbers (mananggiti) and distilled in traditional clay pot stills. Lakan's mission is to elevate lambanog from its association with cheap industrial production to a spirit worthy of appreciation alongside artisanal spirits globally, using traditional methods, clean coconut sap sources, and careful distillation.
